City Mall & Healthy Care Hotel

The City Mall & Healthy Care Hotel is a mixed-use architectural project located in Smouha, Alexandria, designed to combine commercial, hospitality, and healthcare functions within a unified contemporary development. The project acts as an urban destination that provides shopping, leisure, accommodation, and wellness services while creating an active public environment connected to the surrounding city fabric.

The design concept focuses on creating an integrated environment that enhances user comfort through natural lighting, visual openness, green spaces, and efficient circulation systems. The building masses are arranged to maximize accessibility and establish clear functional zoning between the mall, hotel, medical services, and service areas while maintaining strong visual and physical connections between spaces.

The project includes a multi-level shopping mall containing retail stores, restaurants, cafés, entertainment spaces, and public gathering areas, in addition to a healthy care hotel designed to provide accommodation and wellness facilities in a calm and comfortable environment. The planning strategy separates public circulation from hotel and service circulation to improve operational efficiency and user privacy.

Environmental studies such as sun path analysis, wind movement, and site orientation were integrated into the design process to enhance sustainability and indoor comfort. Open courts, landscaped terraces, and transparent façades contribute to improving natural ventilation and creating visually attractive public spaces.

The project aims to establish a contemporary urban landmark in Alexandria that supports tourism, healthcare, and commercial activity while providing a modern architectural identity that responds to both functional and environmental considerations.
